MORBID ANGEL Prepare To Record New Album

According to MORBID ANGEL's official web site (www.morbidangel.com),guitarist/songwriter Trey Azagthoth "is writing the new material, the band is gearing up for recording the new album soon and release should be around September of 2003 on Earache [Records]. All of the details related to that will be let out gradually over the course of the next 6 months or so." An official announcement regarding the identity of the group's bassist/vocalist and second guitarist (following the departures of Jared Anderson and Erik Rutan, respectively) is expected "very soon." MORBID ANGEL's last studio album, "Gateways To Annihilation", came out in 2000.
